Colossians 1:17

Inspiration verse.....

He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together - Colossians 1:17

Came across this verse when i read a devotion from Proverbs 31 Devotional. Indeed it encouraged me in every aspect of my life. His grace had been sustaining me for the past few months, from the moment i got to know my dad going to remarriage and my breakup with S. Everything seem to fall apart. Through and through, He had been my strength and courage to go by each day knowing that there is someone i can hold on and He is JESUS.

He knows and already determine ahead all the things that happen in my life yesterday, today and future. And every situation are interconnected and it happen for a reason. In the midst of my situation, i might not able to see the bigger picture but at the end, i can see that it happened so that i can grow stronger and my faith is strengthen. When I'm weak, He is strong. When I'm poor, He is rich.

Thank You Lord for everything. I pray that 2010 will be a year that i can shine brighter for You.

Shop @Kitschen

Suppose to have CG last tuesday, but last minute had to cancel due to Transform to Impact conference held this coming weekend. All the CGies going to meet in church on Friday. At the same time, our cg venue .aka WK's place not available.

So, i decide to go to QBay to have some window shopping. Wanted to get a waist belt for my dinner dress. After browsing from shop to shop, can't find anything that i wanted. Then, i come across "Kitschen". Hhhmmm....new shop!!! Heard of it, it the same company brand as Niichi. For us ladies, new shop means more places to shop for clothes.

The clothes they offer there are quite nice and trendy. Most of all, they have size ranging form XS to XL, suitable for everyone especially small size type like me. The pricing there are mid-range, a bit more pricey compare to niichi. Anyway, they offer better quality. I don't mind paying a bit more and get a better quality clothes.

Manage to pick few dresses to try on and it fit nicely. After a several round of fitting, manage to get 3 dresses. There goes my quota for the next few months. Since CNY coming soon, it will be my CNY clothes. Definitely, will come back to this shop again for my next shopping spree.

Lunch with the Siu's

The Siu's was back with their daughter esrene. Due to esrene was down with HFMD (Hand Foot Mouth Disease), we didn't manage to meet up with them. They were home quarantine for 4 days until esrene is fully recover. So, yesterday we manage to organized a lunch gathering with the T & A, M & J, YS & CM, J & M, Alex, Jess and Andrew. It turned out to be a reunion lunch for South 2 & South 5 (the good 'ol days)

We went to OFA and little that i know, they changed their management already. The menu seem to be slightly different but their tomyam fried rice still very delicious. We had a fun time catching up with each others and baby shanna and caris got a chance to play with esrene. Baby clement too young (less than 2 months old) to play with them.

Time flies, after 3 years, so much had changed. Some of us already marriage and have their own family. Wonder what it will be like in another 3 years time. Will we able to have this kinda gathering again?!

After lunch, BK and I went to meet up with T & A to officially informed them about our relationship. While there, BK and I was asked what is the concrete plan we have for our relationship. The first question T asked us was "When we plan to get marriage?". Both of us was stunt. We never discuss or even thought about it before. So, when both of us on the phone at night, we had a conversation on this very question and shared what is our expectation and milestones for our relationship. We gives ourselves this coming 3 months to know each others more and come back again to see how's our progress.

We really need to pray together as a couple. Sometimes, i have this attitude of wanting to do this and that, but always end up without executing it. Thought only, No Action!!


Lord Jesus, thank you for the wonderful opportunity and your blessings. Thanks you for the provision and joy you have pour into my life in 2009. I believes everything happened for a reason. As I enter into the new year 2010, it will be a new beginning for my family, my spiritual life and my relationship. Thank you for bringing BK into my life. I uphold our relationship into your gracious hands as well as all our plans. Help us and guide us as BK and I walk this very new year together as a couple. Let us be a blessing to those around us especially the cgies. May our strengths and our weaknesses compliment each others. Remind us always we need to come together to pray and seek you in our relationship. Amen

A new year, a new beginning.

First day of 2010....it was a day well spend with my dear BK. After a hectic weekend on my dad's wedding, finally had a relaxing weekend to myself. To make it more memorable, i'm going out with BK.  

we wanted to watch Avatar 3D, but was sold out 2 days before the show....it was a hit movie of the year...the tickets are selling like hot cake especially the 3D version. Anyway, we still went for movie, watching "Alvin and the chipmunks". BK brought the ticket online and this time we go for twin seat, first time for BK.

After movie, we went window shopping as BK wants to buy shoe. We walk around gurney but didn't find anything that BK wanted. Then, we down to basement area to get some drink, so coincidence, we bump into Alan. We didn't call him, we just walk pass him and hopefully he didn't see us. Oops!! Beside Alan, we also bump into BK's colleagues.

Then, we adjourned to island plaza, hoping that metrojaya will have something BK looking for. But still, the choices there are limited. We end up not buying anything there.While there, we met Cheryl's parent. To my surprise, BK knew Cheryl's mum, they are colleague (such a small world). It was nice to see them after so long. I think i last seen them was before i went to Melbourne which is 6 years back. This shows that i didn't keep in touch with cheryl for such a long time. Have to catch up with my college mates. Have to plan for a reunion with them.

When we left island plaza, it was still very early for dinner. So, BK brings me back to his place to meet his parent. This is the first time i meet his parent officially as his girlfriend. A bit "kang cheong". Wanted to give my best and the best way is to be myself. It went well, his parent was very friendly and nice. His brother got a golden retriever and it is super huge. Met his brother, Boon Wei as well. We spent time at his place, browsing his UK's photos until CK call us for dinner. 

CK is here in penang and we went to "cherry sweet" for thai food. Nice place, delicious food and reasonable price also. CK paid the bill first and BK pay him our shared. Immediately, MM asked BK, "why you paying for Jxxx?". CK added, "So it's official or not official?". BK just reply with laughter "hahaha!!"

Our relationship becoming very obvious now especially to those around us, our cgies.
